Learn2Esport, creators of the leading platform for esports management, Gameplan, announced their new partnership with the National Esports Collegiate Conference (NECC) today. The partnership will aim to provide both formal and informal learning opportunities around esports to NECC member schools through Gameplan.

This new partnership between Learn2Esport and NECC provides solutions for program directors and esports coaches at NECC member institutions to easily manage their esports programs using Gameplan’s tools.

“We are proud to have an organization as respected as NECC highlighting the value of our platform in their community,” said Rasmus Sandström, founder of Learn2Esport. “We are confident coaches will see improvements in their esports programs by implementing Gameplan, which can only help drive more awareness of the benefits of engaging with esports in an educational setting.”

“We are thrilled to partner with Learn2Esport,” said NECC Commissioner Jacob VanRyn. “I’ve been impressed with the Gameplan platform and am excited for our community to see it first-hand as I think it could potentially be very beneficial to many of the programs that compete in the NECC. We’re excited to work with Rasmus and his team going forward on what we think will be a rewarding long-term partnership.”

With Gameplan, esports programs can be improved through better assessments of player performance; allowing student-athletes to increase their performance. Features such as, video-review of their play with direct in-video feedback, self-reflection journals, drills and more all provide a perfect training environment for student athletes. The solutions Gameplan provides will help coaches more effectively train and manage their teams, while being able to report on core-learning objectives to better showcase the value of esports to the wider community.

The NECC is committed to providing positive and healthy esports competition in the collegiate space. While the NECC is composed of institutions that may look very different in their composition, providing a positive and healthy gaming experience is central to the conference’s mission and goal. The NECC’s member institutions share a common educational focus that encourages, promotes, and fosters academic excellence.

The esports market is a booming global industry, and there is a growing demand for esports curriculum and training to help prepare today’s youth for success in and out of esports. Gameplan focuses on using esports to foster the development of real-world skills and abilities that help improve academic studies, mental health, soft-skills and more. All of which will aid students in their future career and academic endeavors.
