Gameplan, the leading esports education and management platform, has announced a recent partnership with XP League, North America’s premier competitive youth esports league.

With this partnership, XP League and its franchisees will seamlessly provide high-level esports learning content directly to their players through the Gameplan esports management platform. In addition, coaches of all levels will manage their youth esports leagues in Gameplan by creating training schedules, running drills, tracking student progress, and more all through their membership in XP League.

The shared goals between Gameplan and XP League drove this partnership forward.  Rasmus Sandström, the CEO of Gameplan, said, “We are thrilled about our new partnership with XP League, who will be using Gameplan to help make esports coaching accessible to anyone. Our core values of helping youth acquire real-life skills such as leadership and teamwork are closely aligned with XP League, and this new partnership will help promote the value of esports to a wider community."

“Our partnership with Gameplan allows participants to continue their growth as players, while also being able to quantify that progress through the platform.” said Jay Melamed, CEO of XP League.  “Players will have opportunities to level up in the platform, and celebrate achievement milestones.  I could not have dreamt up a platform better suited for delivering our best in class content and curriculum.”

The esports market is primed for explosive growth, with predictions showing a surge to nearly $1.6 billion in revenue by 2023. This new partnership will foster the adoption of esports in the wider community and increase awareness of this valuable learning method.

XP League is the first-to-market youth esports league franchise that bridges the gap between conventional youth athletics and competitive esports. XP League provides an innovative program that fosters social skills and sportsmanship through a positive, certified coach-led structure. Launched in September 2020, XP League has quickly grown to 46 territories across the U.S. and Canada as of August 2021.

Both XP League and Gameplan look forward to the future potential of this partnership.
